Overview
Maxwell by Heart is a 25-step lesson on the four Maxwell equations.
- Primer: divergence and curl, with a field you can probe and a wheel that turns in a swirling flow.
- The four laws: for Gauss’s law for E, Gauss’s law for B, Faraday’s law and the Ampère–Maxwell law, an interactive field shows what the law means. Then you build the equation from pieces and write it from memory.
- Integral forms: from a point to a region, then match and recall the integral forms.
- Final test: write all four equations on an equation keyboard. A bonus step shows how the laws give light.
